Earth is a strange place! Different part of the World has different type of people. They differ from each other in terms of appearance, language, religious practice, way of living etc. and off course FOOD they eat. Though most of the food are common and doesn't seem like YUCKY, yet some may make you vomit just by the look of it. Today we are going to see 10 such Food Items.

1. Balut.

Balut is a developed duck embryo boiled alive and eaten in its egg. Mostly preferred with chilled Beer. Balut is popular in South-east Asia, mainly Philippine and Vietnam. 

2. Casu Marzo.

Casu Marzo is rotten cheese made from traditional sheep milk. The cheese makers allow flies to sit on the cheese and lay eggs by placing it in open room. The eggs then turn to larva and farments the cheese by breaking down the fat. This Food Item is popular in Sardinia, Italy. 

3. Mongolian BOODOG.

As the name suggests it is a dish from Mongolia, but not related to Dog meat though. A marmot or a goat is cooked inside it's skin with hot stones within the stomach.

4. Kiviak.

This food item is from Greenland. This food requires no spice or heat. they simply put 300 to 500 Auks (kind of a bird) into a hollowed out body cavity of a Seal and press out as much air as possible to  create vacuum inside. Then the Seal is covered in a pile of rock for 3 to 18 months. After that the auks are eaten raw.

5. Thousand Year Old Egg.

Thousand year old Egg is not thousand year old. This Food item from China is actually Months old. Raw eggs are preserved in a mixture of ash,salt,quicklime, rice hulls and clay for months. 

6. Blodplättar.

Blodplättar is kind of a blood pancake made up of pork blood, milk, rye flour, dark molasses, onion and butter. this dish is popular in Sweden and Finland.

7. Bat soup.

As the name suggests , this soup contains Bat as a whole boiled with herbs and spices. this dish is popular in Palau, Micronesia.

8. Ox Penis.

Most commonly served in China, Ox penis is a delicacy. Eaten as a whole or as a soup it is believed to increase sexual energy in men.

9. Haggis.

Served in Scotland, this meal consists of sheep’s stomach stuffed with sheep’s liver, lungs and heart, onions, oatmeal, and various spices.

10. Tong Zi Dan.

Served in China, it is also aptly known as "virgin boy eggs". The recipe is simple as boiling the eggs in young men's urine.
