Beer is the world's most widely consumed and probably the oldest alcoholic
beverage. Most of you guys reading this post may like Beer too. So in
this post we are going to see 10 awesome FACTS about our favorite Drink.
1. BEER is the 3rd most popular Drink after Water and Tea.
2. Most BEER is flavored with Hops, which is the reason of bitterness of Beer. It also acts as natural preservative.
3. During the building
of the Great Pyramids in Giza, Egypt,
each worker got a daily ration of four to five liters of beer, which served as
both nutrition and refreshment that was crucial to the pyramids' construction.
4. Normal Beer available at pubs, Bars contain 4% to 8% of alcohol by volume. But "Snake Venom"by Scottish Brewery Brewmeister is the strongest Beer with 67.5% alcohol by volume.
5. Beer is Fat free and it contains protein and carbohydrates.
6. Anheuser-Busch InBev is the largest Beer brewing company in the world. This company is from Belgium and Brazil.
7. Beer is sold in a can or amber colored glass bottles. Amber glass bottle provide excellent protection from light which may turn the taste of it Light or Skunky.

largest glass of beer contained 2,082 liters (457.99 gal, 550 US gal)
of Stod Fold Gold and was produced by Angus Wood and Ed Dupuy of Stod
Fold Brewing Company (all UK), in Halifax, UK, on 6 July 2014. The glass
measured 2.23 m (7 ft 4 in) tall with a diameter of 1.12 m (3 ft 8 in).
It took one hour to fill the glass. It contained 3,664 pints, one for
every kilometer of the Tour de France.
9. Cenosillicaphobia is fear of empty Beer glass.
10. Beer was not considered an alcoholic beverage in Russia until 2013.
